Coventry is horribly overpriced, wages are lower than stated here.

We are moving out of the UK this year, either to Denmark or the Netherlands.

I am responding to Aquasal's comment.

Coventry is now ranked 3rd in the world in the "Current Local Purchasing Power Index by City", which means that this city has a very good salary price ratio / the most money you can earn / the most money you can put away from the net average after all monthly expenses
Aquasal on Aug 01, 2022:
To be honest, based on my one year of experience living in this ghost town, glad that I am leaving! I can say that these prices are not very accurate.

Rent prices in this dull city are far more than in big towns i.e., Manchester or Birmingham or even parts of London. I do not know why a decent flat in Coventry costs more than 1,500 pounds per month. you might pay less than that, but you will end up living in an old and ugly place.
There are 2 universities in this ugly city, and that explains the rent prices and why they have gone far! I advise, local, European and international students to stay away from Coventry, or Warwickshire! There are better Universities out there!

Supermarkets, cafes, transport, gyms, bars, and food are more expensive than in many other parts of the UK. "limited choice"

There are not any decent restaurants/bars or cafes in this town! good luck finding a table outside on a sunny day! this city is limited in many ways.

The limited shopping opportunities, make things more expensive, let me illustrate, for example, imagine that you want to buy an Iron machine, a laptop, or cloth, etc. You won't find many choices, because there are limited shops, so you lose the opportunities to browse and search for competitive prices/products (like many other cities), then you end up paying unfair prices for what you find! (In Coventry, choices do not exist)

A pint in Coventry is 4 pounds, whereas in London 6 pounds. I do not know who said that it is the cheaper place to drink in the UK (Lies from Coventry Telegraph).

City council should be people money, for the lack of everything in the city, from Rats to rubbish, to almost zero activities.

My sincere advice, avoid this city if possible! not worth it, you will die living here.
