Is 16000 AED per month salary good for a single girl in any Emirate location? How much will I be able to save?
#Devendra on Jan 26, 2019 :
I Am living in abu dhabhi from more than 2 years and I did not agree that you need 25 K for middle class life. In Abu dhabhi, in around 6 K per month, you could easily get 1 BHK (which are having size around 2bhk of india and apartments are having facility like gym, pool). Apart from that, now public transportation has been vastly improved. I dont think so that any body need more than 4k AED for utilities (around 1k for electricity bill / internet / water bill) and 3 K for food. Apart from this 10K, you could spend on your outings as per your choice.

In my case expense on kid's education, medical insurance and travel for india is funded by company. But still I feel with having in 13-14 k, easily you could live good life here. Rest is your saving.

Hi - I got an offer for AED 15K in AUD.
Can I survive with my family with 2 kids?

Currently I am living in Chennai. on Jun 26, 2018 :
i have stay in abu dhabi for a while. And i get offer 10k All in. And i think, thats too low.
You can save money with it because abu dabhi have high house / apartment rent
#Kay on Jun 24, 2018 :
For the teacher on 21K: You may be able to find suitable housing for 75K per year. Luxury housing is above 100K, nice housing is 80-100K, less desirable housing is 60-80K, meaning you may have some plumbing issues, mold and cockroaches. Try negotiating with the landlord. I would not live in Abu Dhabi on 21K with no included housing. You may want to consider rooming with someone.

For the person offered 1800: This is a very low salary, but if they are paying all your food and housing, you may be okay. I assume you are coming from a country with a very low cost of living. Your biggest expense will be phone and data.

Hi i would like to know what will be an ideal salary for a radiographer in abu dhabi considering accomodation, medical, food, groceries, pension, education for a special needs child and sponsor of a helper. 2 adults 1 child
#Bomber on Dec 16, 2017 :
Guys for a good mid class life in AD as a single don’t go below 25k AED a month, the city is even more expensive than Dubai.

To answer the anonymous: figures are real, people in menial jobs earn those low salaries but they get free accommodation in a shared room, free food and public transportation pass, they just live between 4 walls and they’re able to save the whole salary and send it back to their home country

People don't realize that AD is more expensive even than Dubai.

Personally I wouldn't move there for less than 25-30k, them it depends on you and your standards.

I am getting an offer in Abudabhi for AED.15000 including all lumpsum. Planning to go alone without family. What is the minimum cost of living required for a bachelor accommodation along with expense and how much I can save.

Please advise
#Patricio on May 06, 2017 :
If they offer you 6k AED salary with free accomodation for single, Its is likely you will survive here in abu dhabi but dont expect to have good life. Usually work here is 6 days per week with overtime. Everything is expensive. The safest Salary for family of 3-4 is around 20kAED to cover everything.
#Engg on Apr 12, 2017 :
Hi frieds ..can any one tell me ...Is 10000 AED a good salary in Abudhabi for an lead engineer with 9 yrs exp
I got offer of 10000 AED per month + Accommodation + Transportation.
#Devendra on Apr 06, 2017 :
#hemanth - it is definetly a very good salary brother. If you dont have to pay for rent or education, you can not spend more than 5000 AED per month (until you dont have habit to spend and party every night). I think you can easily save rest of money.
#Devendra on Apr 06, 2017 :
well in abuDhabi, you can easily live (specially for indian) in 12 K AED with 1 bhk and family with kid. I think for education, you need to add 3K AED. So you can save minimum 5000 AED. Now it is up to you to decide whether 5000 AED is good saving for you or not...
