Rent is a little pricey, and they fail to provide reasonable amenities to justify the high price. Reasonable deals can be found, but it's very difficult. Often, the landlord will play games with the rent by tacking on dubious charges and insisting that it must be paid, especially at the last minute. Repairs and improvements are solely at the expense of the renter.

Property prices are insane. It would be cheaper to buy a house in the United States.
