Live in tagaytay, I don't go out much but it's pretty safe here and it's clean with a lot of restaurants, thought the only reliable mall is not big so I get a lot of my stuff from when I visit NCR.

May be moving to the PI to retire.Lived in Manila no of years . Had business there then . Wife is Filipina and I have ACR. Want to buy a house with some land but area must have cold climate and very low humidity. Would also like to have decent driving distance to Manila. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I have lived in Tagaytay for 3 years, in two different locations. As far as crime is concerned, I only know of one violent crime during that time (a homicide), which involved a late-night fight between men who had been drinking heavily. Other than that, I've heard of one or two property crimes, such as minor, opportunistic burglaries. Overall, we feel very safe here.
