Normal white bread is less than one euro per loaf (800g). I think this is one of the best cities to live in the world if there are more job opportunities.

Rental here is around 300 euro per month per bedroom. (A good website for student rental is www.sshn.nl) Groceries at LIDL and ALDI are very reasonably priced. Transport is more expensive but there is always the bicycle path. Health insurance around 100 euro per month.

Rafi, you can estimate your own expenses using the information here. Also, it might be a good idea to contact Agency or Company who provides you training regarding subsided housing or food.

Hello Dear,
I am PhD student at Pakistan and I want to come to Nijmegen, Netherlands for six months training. I do not have any idea regarding the living cost of Nijmegen per month per head.
You are kindly requested if you brief me about the living cost at Nijmegen, Netherlands i.e.
rent of single bed per month,
per day meal (which include breakfast, lunch and dinner)
insurance for six month or per month and other utilities.
Thanking you !
