Sorry, the rain days is not fully objective measure, because if it rains at night, which is mostly the case in Portugal (because there's as much sunshine hours, as in dry cities of Spain for example), it's still counted as rainy day. So, the climate is really great in Portugal, especially Porto, where there's almost no heat and no cold. Only some cities in California could be better in terms of climate, because of same decent temperatures, but with really little amount of rainy days, while still having pleasant not dry air because of ocean proximity.

Great temperatures, but with the cost of much rain. This index unfortunately doesn't take it fully into account. So, for example, Alicnate in Spain yes, have 3 months of pure heat, but have 90 less rainy days, which I think is a better tradeoff, it's easier to be outside with heat than with rain, inside temperatures are controlled by AC anyway
