In order to startle Israel unprecedented next time , Iran need the master of AI, indeed China as the AI knowledge of China is much more superior to US or else how US couldn't create another TikTok and instead attempting to seize it with unprecedented barbarian method in US since Trump's era.
Joe Biden is a genocide criminal for murdering over 30 thousands of Palestinian through his endless weapon supply to Israel as well as enabling Israel to commit genocide freely in Gaza by deliberately blocking ceasefire proposal in UN unprecedented.
Endless inflation starts as soon as Joe Biden took over the white house because he not only skyrocketed gasoline price from 40 dollar to 80 dollar per barrel of oil but also skyrocketed minimum wage where businesses are being forced to skyrocket their output because wage is always their greatest expense in business.
Wasting maximum trillions unprecedented by paying for student loan in the name of misleading loan forgiveness in order to win vote which makes democracy vulnerable with unethical people like Joe Biden who doesn't care the destruction of US due to the unsustainable outstanding debt but only pursues his own selfish interest at the expense of bombing endless inflation throughout the world.
The wife of Joe Biden is not pure and she had another husband before but the unethical Joe Biden committed adultery with her while her legal husband was working for the adulterer Joe Biden.
Parasite descendant is exactly where Joe Biden sprouted from. His grandfather and father were kind of parasite, probably Jew but thanks to a generous man who supported both his grandfather and his father to prevent them from starvation or else Joe Biden might not exist today. What Joe Biden did after becoming senator to the descendant of the generous man is beyond belief and yes Joe Biden destroyed their business so they live in poverty now.
The peace proposal of Ukraine war was rejected because of extremely wicked Joe Biden's pressure around last year February or else there would no longer be Ukraine war anymore now. The current Ukraine war is not the first time and there was a Ukraine war before without US meddling in 2014 and the war ended quickly in less than a year. Ukraine was a part of Russia empire before so the misleading of Joe Biden as if the spreading of Ukraine war to Europe is unethically shameless unprecedented.
WW3 to spread from South China Sea according to warmonger Joe Biden's plot. After WW2, loser Japan returned islands in South China Sea to China but after the civil war, the victorious Communist China was left with nothing as the loser KMT fled with most of the wealth to Taiwan so Communist China had to choice to safeguard the islands in South China Sea due to poverty and that was exactly where thieves surrounding the South China Sea grabbed China's islands lawlessly in South China Sea as if for free so that is how Philippines possessed more territories than at the time of her liberation from US.
US and Philippines have a mutual defense treaty but US did nothing when China shot 3 times to the Philippines boat in 2011.
And now the war monger Joe Biden said any conflict between China and Philippines would activate the mutual defense so 1 shot is enough to start WW3 worldwide.
So in order to kill inflation, gold must be used for international trading instead of untrustworthy US dollar.
The prices in this page are so low.
Max price per square meter in Tehran city center is only 4,000$! One fifth of the real price!
Today I've seen an ad for an apartment in one of Tehran's luxurious neighborhoods. The Price per Square Meter to Buy that Apartment is 20,000$! (1,858$ per square feet)
Also the average price in City center of Tehran is around 12,500$
((If you are not sure about what I said above, you can go and see a lot of apartment sale ads to see many examples.))
[[ Price per Square Meter to Buy Apartment in City Centre 12,500.00 $ 7,500.00-20,000.00 ]]
[[ Price per Square Meter to Buy Apartment Outside of Centre 5,000.00 $ 1,250.00-10,000.00 ]]

Also this is absolutely true about Tehran:
"The air of this city is composed with Dust and sand and toxicity and it is very poisonous.
But less than India or other east Asian Countries."
just at all. but less than India or other east Asian Countires.
Most of military equipments from Russia and US are outdated comparing to the modern world now as they can be easily destroyed with the latest drone attacks.
So the middle east should immediately prepare millions and millions of cheap drone attacks in order to stop the genocide criminal US from spreading the genocide terrorism upon the helpless Palestinian upon their own land Palestine without justice.
Cars all are OLD dating back to 2012 2013 and more expensive than what you've posted
Housing is way more expensive
And
Income is wrong either, $160 would be income Before Tax.
Your exchange rate is wrong as well.
Everyone is agreed with me unless some trolls paid by goverment
300 $ for a single person in Tehran ? ( yeah even without rent including ) you should live with the minimums !
We ARE living based on U.S DOLLAR ! Toman ? LONG GONE ! RIALS ? ONLY LEGENDS REMAINED !
10 $ for a sandwich which you can reat assured of it containing real meat and not Only god knows what ingredients ! So 3 meals per day , ONLY MEALS and you need 900 $ for a month !
My mom is a retired highschool teacher with the monthly salary of less than 300 $ for 3 person ! Oh and pls include rent this time since we live in karaj and paying A LOT for having a luxury called HOME ( yup it's becoming a luxury not to go homeless seeing how this circus if a country is doing ! )
I saw the prices on your site. All your prices about Iran are wrong. That is, it is much higher than reality.
For example, the price of a bottle of mineral water in Iran is 2000 Tomans, which is about 4 cents. But you specified $0.82!
The rest of the listed prices are also wrong.
and every square meter of Apartment in city center is above 1280 usd
with average monthly salary of 255-288 usd
-->>> what centr Bank of Iran tell https://www.cbi.ir/default_en.aspx its not correct, !!
-->> even https://fxmarketrate.cbi.ir/Default.aspx this one shows for today 304,167 Toman (3041670 Rial) / $ is not correct either
you can check : navasan.net that shows 40330 toman (403300 Rial) / USD $ and if you calculate the avrage income from Iranian based on correct / real exchange rate , you will note that Iran is one of the expensive countries to live in
The on the ground reality is 50% more than what has been mentioned here.
Specifically for food, accommodation, health-care and transportation.
Thanks!
also average salary is more than 268$ which is minimum wage
Overall prices in Iran:
Restaurant is 30-40% cheaper here in Tehran than prices stated here
Market is 25% more cheaper
Transportation is quite accurate except the gasoline price, gasoline is $0.1 currently (it's subsidized)
Utilities is 25% cheaper. Internet in Iran is quite cheap but low quality and sometimes no matter how much you're willing to pay, you can't find a great internet connection for your place. Overall expensive internet packages in Iran are in $5 to $10 range.
Sports And Leisure is 50% cheaper.
Childcare: Well I personally don't know of any international primary school so it's not a competitive market thus can be pricy. Kindergarten price looks right though.
Clothes: Buying clothes with western brands is 20% more expensive in Iran since there is no official retailers for brands. However you can buy high-quality (but unknown in terms of name of the brand) clothes 70% cheaper than prices listed in here.
Rent: Rent is at 50% cheaper too. Average price of 1 sqm of housing in Tehran is $1100, The most expensive neighborhoods in Tehran are currently priced around $3k per sqm. You can easily rent a 75 sqm apartment in Tehran city center for $350 and out of city center for $250.
Apartment price is also 50% cheaper as described in rent paragraph.
Average salary seems quite right, currently minimum wage jobs start from $100-$120 though.
Overall, living in Tehran with Iranian wages is super tough and uncomfortable.
1 USD = 293,000 IRR 6/Jan/2022
* 10,000 IRR = 1,000 Toman(local currency)
prices that listed are at Toman. multiply x10 to see IRR.
Iran is super cheep for foreigners and deadly expensive for it's own people.

- Taxi 1km (Normal Tariff): 0.1 USD

- Gasoline (1 liter): 0.12 USD (Regardless some other items which frequently goes up and down due to the high inflation rate, price of gasoline is same for about 3 years now)

- The prices of buying an apartment on your site are for north of Tehran. Multiply them by 0.65 .
* Due to high inflation rate and weak governmental monitoring, sometimes we can see a high rate of some goods. For instance, some weeks ago, the prices of chicken skyrocketed just before holidays. After 10 days the price comes down.
Because of the incorrect exchange rate, The calculated living costs are also incorrect. For example your website indicates that the cost of living in Tehran for a family of four is 2,270.74C$ which is not correct. With $2270 CAD you can live there like a king. A regular family of four can live on something about $400 CAD. Please do some research and you will get better what I am saying. Thanks.
A great civilization, one of the oldest in the world, can not die like this. Hopefully the Iranians will rise up as they already did once in 1979, but this time for the better.
The figures given by Numbeo are not good. They were good at the time Rouhani became President. Back then, 1 euro = 4000 toman, now 1 euro = 32,000 toman ! in less than 4 years.
Rezvan below is right as well. I copy paste what he has written :
The official minimum wage in Iran is 60 USD per month.
The average wage is around 100-120 USD per month.
These numbers are converted to USD with today's exchange fee, which is around 1 USD = 310000 Iranian rials
Iran is extremely cheap for foreigners and super expensive for locals.
average salaries are hard to calculate because no clear systematic assessment in Iran. Also, as salaries in classes are so different, it is not an important data. Generally, an engineer salary rarely exceeds 200000000 IRI monthly, while the physiciens salaries can be as high as 3000000000 and not less than 150000000 monthly. average mid-class salary may not more than 60000000 monthly. The monthly wage for unskilled people can be as low as 20000000 IRR.
Generally, living in Tehran with good salary, prices for transportation and groceries are not a problem, unless you want to consume non-iranien products. currently non iranien products are both expensive (compared to prices in neighbor countries) and sometimes hard to find due to government limiting imports (economy problems). Note car prices are madly high, however you can sell them with the same price or higher whenever you want.
accommodation is number one issue living in Tehran. An approximated example for renting a 100 square meters apartment in a neighborhood not far from city center is 80000000 IRR monthly. note you may not want to be far from you working place due to heavy traffic jams and not sufficient public transportation.
Also clothing prices are not reasonable at all, unless you are ok with chines or iranien products.
Generally, if you are sent by a foreign employer to work in Tehran, your salary is probably good enough to live and save. I’m not sure if Tehran job opportunities are suitable for foreign people. You may find exceptions as a programmer, as rising need and mass iranien developers immigrating to more developed countries (If iraniens prefer this why not a foreigners).
Iran is the paradise for foreigners to come and enjoy living here with very very affordable prices and cost of living , The only problem is tourists should find a local friends to help them to enjoy living in here , come here and enjoy lots of organic fruits and food stuffs...
The average wage is around 100-120 USD per month.
These numbers are converted to USD with today's exchange fee, which is around 1 USD = 310000 Iranian rials
Iran is extremely cheap for foreigners and super expensive for locals.
For example average salary in Tehran is 150 USD/month and not 300 ! Howcome all items listed here are doubled ?
Can someone divide every price by two in this list ?
Free dollar rate in Iran is 1$ = 300,000 IR - yes you saw it well 300,000 IRR - the cheapest/weakest currency in the world. Even was-torn countries like Afghanistan and Syria have a stronger currency.
As the currency is still falling, I think that even dividing all prices listed here would not be enough, but it will be a good start for us to update more easily.
Or if an Iranian wants to go to another country, shall buys dollars at a free rate.
Therefore, the calculations of this site are completely wrong for Iran.
Free dollar rate: 1$ =270000IRR
Official dollar rate :1$=42000IRR
Official dollar rate just is used by government for import or export of goods
1$USD is 270000IRR.
If you come to tehran 74$USD is enough to spend a month.
Tehran is cheepest city of the planet.
The cost which mentioned above is higher than what is in real.
7/16/2020
Please be advised that as of today, 7/16/2020 the Iranian Rial currency rate is 234000 per one USD.
Thank you for your time
01 may 2020
1 USD = 19,000 TOMAN OR 190,000 RIAL

Currently, life in Tehran has become very difficult and costs have risen sharply.
