Are you going to tell me that the quality of life in Caracas is even comparable to that of Montevideo, Buenos Aires or Bogotá? You're not even close. 4 million Venezuelans emigrated en masse to other Latin American countries in recent years, an infallible indicator of the terrifying conditions experienced in Venezuela.
Ricardo Zamora on Nov 21, 2023:
I met a Venezuelan nurse or a nursing aide back in 1971. I liked her very much. I hope she’s alive, she lived in Monticello, NY
Victor on Oct 17, 2023:
Why don't Venezuelans come together and demand better government?
Ed on Mar 16, 2023:
Venezuela has the biggest humanitarian crisis in the hemisphere, see the UN official numbers here -> https://data.unhcr.org/en/situations/vensit

Well, I think the cost of living in Venezuela is extremely low and for me a Nigerian to reside in that country will be a great advantage in terms of the currency. I think I should start thinking about investing heavily in to the Venezuelan economy
Miranda on May 16, 2022:
I guess this country might be a decent place to retire based on the scenery, but the economy is pretty beaten up. It would be livable with a pension, but there are probably other countries with good prices that might be a bit more livable. Some of the pictures I have seen are amazing though.

Venezuela is a forgotten country other countries like Colombia and Peru are sending Venezuelans back by the many thousands because they contribute very little if anything at all except a financial burden upon other countries.

The bitcoin, was presented by Europe as a supposed savior to the devaluation of the euro and the pound values.Europe like the rest of the world is addicted to the usd and rightfully so due to security and performance.Afterall the United States is the richest place on earth with the most diverse economy.Few people want to face the facts but the world economy depends heavily on the usd.The United States could close the door on the world and not do business with any countries permanently. That's how rich the United States is. Tourism doesn't mean anything to the United States and it never has but instead just a kind gesture and nothing more. We have never visited the United States.
