Talkng tough from a safe distance about how he'd walk around Haiti easier than JA when he wouldn't last 5 minutes there is embarrassing. His lemming supporters are just as bad (read the comments, you can't believe what you're reading).....

A good illustration of just how accurate and misleading the criminal statistics for Jamaica are, I mean only 69??? It coincides with it's lack of press censorship and the fact that in reality it's really a very under control, sleepy tourist resort.
If you want to go to Jamaica, go!
The violence in Haiti is 100 times worse and it's all over the country, Haitians have long loved Jamaica mainly because of the low homicide and corruption rates. If by chance they do get murdered in Jamaica at least they'll be a statistic which is a bonus - little chance Haiti could offer even that!

It's understandable for example why Jamaica remains attractive to a Haitian refugee; the comically low amount of murder and corruption, the serene cities and lack of violence in the countryside, the gleaming infrastructure etc.
It's important to avoid stats in most cases and prioritise independently-compiled security expert sources.
Anyone who has been to Port-au-Prince and Kingston back to back will tell you how jarringly tame and safe Kingston is in comparison.
