I think it's beautiful from pictures I have seen.would need more in depth info about Slovenia before making the move but I would like to take up holiday there

Housing in the US is foreign owned. Expected monthly rental is unrealistic which why homelessness in Seattle is a real problem as is the continued exodus from the area. State side housing isn’t a right. Its a privilege as are most basic human rights recognised by the European Union. Its the reason why most of us who are immigrants are choosing careers in ICT and moving back to our home countries to help meet those demands. Where I live its 88% more expensive than living in Ljubljana which is about 6000€ per month.

This is completely wrong and ridiculous. You need to add at least 20% to be even close to reality. Probably 30%-40% would be more accurate.
