Having lived in CR for many years, I can say that it's an affordable place to live, rent is not bad, it's increasing that's for sure, food is relatively cheap, utilities are cheap, since most people don't have to worry about AC/Heater, it's always cool, around 75F. The only thing that I don't agree with is the price for the internet, goodness, for 1Mbps Download / 256 or 512 Kbps upload, they charge like $40, where I live now in the US I pay $40 for 20Mbps download, 5 Mbps Upload.

Weather, one of the reasons I moved out of there, it rains like crazy, every day pretty much from May to November, it rains for hours and hours, I hate it.
